So I imagine we're gaining a reputation for introducing friends to new tv shows. This can be a blessing and a curse for those we inflict ourselves upon in that the shows are extremely entertaining but they can also consume massive amounts of time. Some past examples of shows we've spread are The Office, LOST, Firefly, and Veronica Mars. Well now we're doing it again. From the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel comes Dollhouse. It's amazing. There's action, suspense, intrigue, and of course clever dialogue. It's made by Joss Whedon and we'll pretty much recommend anything he makes.
For and extra bonus, check out the comedy musical Joss made during the writers strike with his own money- Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog.
Despite the plethora of tv shows we're involved in. We actually have enforced a cap on ourselves because our schedule doesn't allow us to watch everything we like. Recently we've made an exception for Dollhouse because it's created by Joss Whedon. But honestly we don't care only about the entertainment value of watching these tv shows, but also how shows can provide an opportunity to connect with our friends. For me, tv shows and movies are best when enjoyed with others. Some of my fondest memories are of going to movies with friends or big groups of people. One such notable event was when a group of friends dressed up real nice like spies and went to the dollar movie to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. We got some weird looks, but it was awesome.
