When you live in Texas in the Spring, it's basically required that you take pictures with bluebonnets. I never really understood it. Sure, they were pretty pictures and I {of course} love flowers, but it honestly didn't seem worth the trouble to get dressed up and plan to go sit in a field of flowers, typically, on the side of a busy highway. Awkward.
However, now I get it.

There is a park near our house that has a wildflower area and the bluebonnets are gorgeous right now. Each time Jonah and I would go on a walk, I would kick myself for not bringing my camera and snapping a few pictures.
I finally remembered and I am so glad I did.
They certainly aren't perfect; I had the sun to contend with since Jonah's currently sleeping during optimal lighting hours.
But he is adorable and the flowers are lovely. And I am so glad I have pictures of my sweet baby boy enjoying a Texas tradition.
Texas forever.
