Over Memorial Day weekend, we were Tulsa bound! David took an extra day off and we drove up to see the Yorks and take advantage of their {newly installed!} pool.

We got in late {read: 10pm} on Saturday, so no swimming was had. But we were up {read: Jonah was up} bright and early, so we hopped in the pool as soon as we could!

Since and Grammy and Papa were out of town until that evening, David and I had the pool to ourselves while Jonah went down for his morning nap. Except for some mangy dog that wouldn't stop barking.

We tried to introduce Jonah to the pool when he woke up. It didn't go great, so we didn't force it. Instead, we moved the party to the deck.

We also enjoyed some time on the porch. Grammy and Papa have a beautiful view on their front porch and have recently had three families of geese {complete with baby goslings!} on their land. It was fun to watch them splash in the pond.

Once Jonah learned to stop worrying and love the pool, the entire rest of the weekend was spent in the water or on the porch.

There was also a LOT of eating. On Tuesday, Papa made his famous ribs. Ribs that I can't even talk about because they're too delicious and oh my goodness I want some right now!
