After dragging my feet for quite awhile, I finally caved and decided to start Jonah on solids. There were a lot of reasons for me to wait. Some were good and some were slightly silly. But I'm so glad we did wait as long as we did because we got to skip rice cereal completely and go straight to purees {sweet potato, if you're curious}.
And Jonah absolutely loved it.

Seriously, this was so much fun. David and I were both prepared for Jonah to dislike the food and perhaps to fuss about eating. What we got was the total opposite. He really enjoyed himself and even opened his mouth wide for more bites several times. We loved watching him discover something new and feel so blessed to have such a sweet, easy-going baby.
